Monaco calling – finance, lifestyle & passion
I was in Monaco from Tuesday, 6 October, to Wednesday, 7 October 2026. I flew with SWISS on both legs of the journey and enjoyed excellent service on board. In the Principality, I stayed at the elegant Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort (photo), on the ninth floor, with a magnificent view over the Mediterranean.
The hotel is part of the Monte-Carlo Société des Bains de Mer, as is the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, where I held my meetings at the legendary Le Bar Américain. This also gave me the pleasure of enjoying a chauffeur service between the two. I met four wonderful people from the worlds of art, family offices, real estate and yachting – all highly successful and cosmopolitan in their outlook. I am delighted to be back here again as early as November.
I am pleased to announce that the 1st Fundplat «The Finance & Lifestyle» Session in Monaco, taking place in June 2027, will be held at this iconic venue and will be fully booked, attracting a high-calibre audience. It is part of The Event Collection, our signature event series, alongside Zurich, St. Moritz, Dubai, London and Milan.
