Our founder, Jonathan Krane, founded KraneShares in 2013 after experiencing incredible growth trends in China. KraneShares’ mission is to help global investors allocate to China. Since then, KraneShares has become one of the largest China ETF providers. This focus has continued with product launches worldwide and a constant stream of China-focused research.
Given China’s importance in addressing the global climate crisis, our entrance into broader climate ETFs in 2020 was a natural extension of our focus on China. KraneShares is now one of the largest global carbon/climate ETF providers as well.

We have established a strong focus on China, global carbon, ESG, clean technology, and the electric vehicle ecosystem. In addition to London and Milan, you are organizing an «International Investment Forum» in Zurich. What is it about?
KraneShares has been holding an annual Investment Forum for professional investors in the UK and Europe. This year, we are excited to expand this annual forum to Zurich for the first time.
