Finance and Ferrari: an unforgettable day in Abu Dhabi
After two days packed with meetings in Dubai, I took it a little easier on Friday, 21.02.2025, and was able to sleep until 7:00 am. At 10:00 am, my driver Mohammed Faizal arrived at the hotel to chauffeur me to Abu Dhabi. The journey took around 90 minutes. I saw lots of camels along the motorway, which made me very happy!
At 12:15 pm, a business lunch was on the programme at the «Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental», one of the most impressive hotels in the world. At 2:45 pm, a meeting at the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). I was very impressed by the futuristic buildings. The ADGM is the counterpart to the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC).
On the way back to Dubai, I asked for a stopover on Yas Island so that I could visit «Ferrari World» and the «Yas Marina Circuit», where a Formula 1 race takes place every year. As time was running out, I did both from the outside. Next time I’ll buy tickets. We arrived at my hotel at 6:30 pm, it was an unforgettable day! Thomas J. Caduff, CEO, Fundplat LLC
