Dubai: A marvellous city with wonderful people
Superstar Julia Roberts is absolutely right with «La vie est belle». Markus Baumgartner, b-public AG, Zurich; Florian Volery, Blockchain Impact GmbH, Zurich and I are of exactly the same opinion. We were in Dubai from Wednesday, 17.04.2024 until Friday, 19.04.2024 for the 1st Fundplat «The Desert Talks» Summit 2024 and had an extremely exciting time. The rain of the century will be remembered forever, as will the great contacts we were able to make with wonderful people from Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Dubai is experiencing a gigantic boom across the entire ecosystem. Together with Abu Dhabi, it is enjoying a huge influx of skilled labour and capital from all over the world. On Friday, we took this quick photo with my iPhone before our departure. Then we travelled back to Zurich with «Emirates». I really like this airline! Thomas J. Caduff, CEO, Fundplat LLC
