A wonderful evening in Dubai with a very smart Swiss lady, Dubai real estate advisor and investor
«Let’s meet at the «FIVE Palm Jumeirah» – on the Penthouse rooftop lounge», Margarita Bertoliatti told me on the phone. So I took a taxi and met Margarita there on Wednesday evening, 16.10.2024. We enjoyed delicious sushi, admiring fantastic views of Dubai Marina and Dubai Harbour, marvelled at the many yachts underway. The fantastic hotel & resort with a gigantic private sandy beach is located directly on the iconic Palm Jumeirah.
We had an in-depth discussion about the UAE real estate market. It is amazing what she knows and talks with passion about it. Margarita has been living in Dubai since 2018 and that is when she made her first investment in Dubai property. When I arrived at my hotel around midnight, I saw three highly interesting studies in my mailbox that she sent me: «How much property can you purchase around the world with $1 million?», «UBS Global Real Estate Bubble Index 2024» and «Record-Breaking Property Sales – Value in Q3 2024!». Conclusion: Despite the enormous price increases in recent years, property prices in Dubai are still low compared to other world cities!
A few more words about the «FIVE». It is XXL luxury! The ambience and the view are breathtaking, the food is excellent and the service is very professional.
