Delicious Japanese dinner with a successful Dubai communications professional and excellent networking insider
I always get to meet outstanding personalities in Dubai. At the 2nd Fundplat «The City Talks» Afterwork in November 2024, Laaleen Sukhera, founder of the brilliant Social League, was my guest. I asked her if we could meet up in the near future and I was overjoyed that she said yes!
On Wednesday, 19.02.2025, the time had come and I invited Laaleen to dinner at the super trendy restaurant «CLAP» in the Gate Village of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC). The Japanese food, the atmosphere and the service were absolutely world class! And of course the view of part of the magnificent skyline. In addition to Dubai, this great address can also be found in Riyadh, Beirut, London and Ibiza.
It was fantastic what I learnt from Laaleen on this wonderful evening. She is not only a brilliant connector, event specialist, and matchmaker, she also knows exactly which are the most important social hubs in the city. We said our goodbyes at 10:30 pm, Laaleen went home and I went to my hotel.
We will see each other again soon, namely at the 3rd Fundplat «The City Talks» Afterwork on Wednesday, 09.04.2025, in the most important business club on the Persian Gulf, the «Capital Club Dubai», which is a minute’s walk from the «CLAP».
