An unforgettable evening in Dubai: wonderful personalities in a world class club with the best buffet of my life!
The 3rd Fundplat «The City Talks» Afterwork took place on Wednesday, 09.04.2025, in Dubai’s premiere private business club, the «Capital Club». High-calibre guests from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Frankfurt, London, St. Moritz and Zurich took part. I spoke to all of them and was amazed at what they do for a living. Each person told me a very interesting story.
We had the unique pleasure of experiencing a great presentation with fantastic videos by Switzerland’s best-known high-mountain helicopter pilot. Fabrizio Balsarini is also the base manager of Swiss Helicopter AG – the leading helicopter company in Switzerland – at the «Engadin Airport St. Moritz – Samedan», Europe’s highest-altitude airport. Because he can fly so precisely, Fabrizio is also known as «The watchmaker in the sky». He has over 5,500 flying hours.
Believe me, I have been to many events with buffets in my 46 years of professional life – but this one was absolutely the best! We enjoyed a starter of black angus bresaola & parmesan, crunchy thai salad, sushi selection and broccoli popcorn, for the main course penne arrabiata, slow-cooked beef, smoked butter chicken and confit lamb shoulder & grilled vegetables, for dessert freshly sliced fruits und mini cheesecakes.
