A sold-out evening of inspiration: the 4th «The Desert Talks» Summit in the heart of the DIFC

Fundplat has only been operating in the Persian Gulf for two years – and we’ve already achieved so much. On Wednesday, 5 November 2025, the 4th «The Desert Talks» Summit at the legendary Capital Club, right in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), was completely sold out.
I had the pleasure of welcoming some 40 outstanding leaders from Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Switzerland, the Principality of Liechtenstein, Germany, and the United Kingdom. The keynote was delivered by Carina Holzapfel from BOOSTLi, Zurich, on «Artificial Intelligence and LinkedIn» – a performance that earned a well-deserved round of applause!
Networking took place on an exclusive rooftop terrace – the perfect setting to connect over world-class cuisine and breathtaking views. The reception started at 6:30 pm, and by 9:00 pm we officially said goodbye – after many inspiring conversations, exchanged business cards, and WhatsApp messages.
