Navigating global wealth with Swiss precision – A conversation on Jumeirah Bay Island
I met Nico Tschanz at Fundplat events in Dubai and Zurich and have always found him to be a great asset to any discussion. We recently agreed to sit down together in a more relaxed setting, which we did on Thursday, 16 April 2026, at the Bulgari Resort Dubai on the exclusive man-made Jumeirah Bay Island.
When Swiss media report on Dubai, Nico is often interviewed and quoted. He also serves as the Representative of the Organisation of the Swiss Abroad (OSA) in the UAE. Professionally, he is Co-Founder and Head of Wealth Management at Dexbridge Capital Ltd in Abu Dhabi. The firm specializes in income-generating portfolios for investors from around the world and also serves corporate clients with bespoke cash management mandates. Naturally, bridging Switzerland and the UAE is at the heart of what Dexbridge does, supported by close relationships with financial institutions in both markets.
Our two-hour conversation was highly enjoyable, collegial, and intellectually stimulating. The firm’s claim, «Resilient Investment Strategies», truly reflects its approach. I was therefore particularly pleased that Nico accepted my invitation to the 2nd Fundplat «The Finance & Future» Session in Dubai this August.
Afterwards, he headed off to meetings in Downtown, while I took the opportunity to explore The Bulgari Yacht Club and the Beach Club in more detail.
