Great success: a somewhat different financial event in Geneva
After Zurich and Lugano on the previous days, Aviva Investors Schweiz GmbH, Zurich, was in Geneva with its exclusive «Signature» event «Philosophy meets Finance» on Thursday, 26.09.2024. In keeping with the theme (there is a different one every year), the lunch was held at the «Maison Rousseau et Littérature» in the beautiful old town. The guest speaker was Francis Cheneval, Professor, Doctor and Head of the Department of Philosophy and Chair of Political Philosophy at the University of Zurich. Oliver Morriss travelled from Aviva Investors in London. A lively discussion developed among the high-calibre participants, naturally also about «Sustainable Investing». In addition to the beautiful building, a fantastic meal provided the perfect setting. We were served a starter of potatoes salad, smoked trout & herb salad, to the main course buckwheat salad with roasted vegetables, thin strips of beef cooked at low temperature, tomato and mint vinaigrette and for the dessert raspberry vanilla mille-feuille. I was invited by Rula Ipsaryaris from Aviva Investors, Zurich. The six-hour train journey to Geneva and back was more than worth it. It was an absolutely first-class event.
