Aviva Investors Signature Event 2025 - «AI meets AI» in Lugano
As part of Aviva Investors‘ prestigious 2025 «Signature Event» series in Zurich, Geneva and Lugano, I travelled to Ticino on Wednesday, 17.09.2025. An inspiring lunch entitled «AI meets AI» – «Artificial Intelligence meets Aviva Investors» took place in the stylish surroundings of the «Ristorante Grand Café Al Porto» right in the centre of Lugano.
Rula Ipsaryaris, Head of Client Solutions Switzerland & Liechtenstein at Aviva Investors Switzerland GmbH, Zurich, hosted the event with great expertise. The speakers were Philipp Spaeti, Technical Leader and IBM Distinguished Engineer at IBM Switzerland, and Josep Bori, Global Equity Analyst in the Technology division at Aviva Investors. Their in-depth insights into the interface between artificial intelligence, ethics and investment strategy provided exciting food for thought and stimulated a lively and forward-looking exchange. The numerous questions from the audience were answered competently and practically by both experts.
The event ended at around 2 p.m., after which I bought some sweets at the confectionery shop for the train ride back to Zurich. Conclusion: An excellently organised event – thanks also to Cristina Paradiso from Aviva Investors, Zurich – with high-calibre content and an enthusiastic audience. Thomas J.
