On Wednesday, 25 March 2026, a «Meet the PM» luncheon hosted by Aviva Investors took place at the beautiful Ristorante Grand Café Al Porto in Lugano. The event was part of a Switzerland roadshow, with the team in Zurich the day before and Geneva the day after. The theme, «Navigating Global Bond Markets in a Complex Landscape», framed a timely and engaging exchange. The lunch was hosted by Rula Ipsaryaris, Head of Client Solutions Switzerland & Liechtenstein, and Cristina Paradiso, Client Solutions Manager at Aviva Investors Schweiz GmbH, Zurich.

The discussion with Aaron Grehan, Head of Capital Opportunities, and Barney Goodchild, Head of Investment Directors, Public Markets at Aviva Investors in London, offered valuable perspectives on the current market environment. Against a complex geopolitical backdrop, they explored how investors are navigating fixed income today – from interest rate dynamics to sovereign and corporate fundamentals, currencies, and active management. The session also highlighted the role of fixed income in enhancing portfolio resilience, capturing carry, and enabling more tactical regional allocation as we look toward 2026 and beyond.

The event brought together a highly experienced audience, leading to an engaging and thoughtful Q&A. Excellent cuisine and warm hospitality added to the atmosphere – and the surprise gift of a teddy bear was a delightful touch. Many thanks for the invitation; it was a pleasure to be part of it!
