Where music and finance find a common language

On Tuesday, 22 September 2026, I was invited by Aviva Investors Zurich to Ristorante Grand Café Al Porto in Lugano – as part of the Signature Lunches «Music meets Finance», which continued in Vaduz on Wednesday and in Zurich on Thursday.

It was deliberately not about a traditional product presentation. Instead, the fascinating connection between music and successful portfolio construction was at the centre: the right combination, structure, timing and harmony. Just as in a musical composition, investments also require balance, diversification and the right interplay – an inspiring perspective on discipline, precision and long-term value creation. Professional violinist Anton Jablokov delighted the participants with his musical interpretation, complemented by the thoughts and insights of Lorraine Fadahunsi from Aviva Investors in London.

The train journey from Zurich to Lugano was definitely worth it – an inspiring event, interesting conversations and a truly special experience. Many thanks to Rula Ipsaryaris and Cristina Paradiso from Aviva Investors Zurich for the invitation and their hospitality. And, of course, we could not miss taking a nice photo to remember the occasion! Thomas J. Caduff, CEO, Fundplat LLC
