People from all over the world come to the fantastic «Snow Polo» on the frozen Lake St. Moritz
The «Snow Polo» World Cup in St. Moritz, established in 1985, is the world’s only high goal polo tournament on snow. It takes place on the frozen lake and attracts people from all over the world. I was there on Saturday, 25.01.2025, and, like every year, I was thrilled. I also had the pleasure of meeting wonderful people from Monte-Carlo, Johannesburg, Rio de Janairo and, as a highlight, Margarita Bertoliatti from Dubai (see link: «A wonderful evening in Dubai with a very smart Swiss lady, Dubai real estate advisor and investor»). She came to St. Moritz especially for the three days to meet friends, clients, and business partners.
I am in Dubai and Abu Dhabi for a week in February. We agreed to meet at one of the most beautiful luxury hotels in Dubai for an interview about Dubai real estate and a photo shoot. After our discussion, I walked up from the lake to the majestic «Badrutt’s Palace Hotel», where I had a drink before travelling back to Zurich.
