A conversation about quant investments in Zurich with an Italian super brain from Dubai
I have been friends with Andrea Nardon for many years, often visited him in London back in the day, and am always very impressed by how extremely clever he is. He has now moved to Dubai with his wife and their young son and is CIO at Creed&Bear. We met at the 2nd Fundplat «The Desert Talks» Afterwork 2024 a few weeks ago at the legendary «Capital Club Dubai» and I asked him to give me a shout the next time he will be in Zurich.
This was the case on Thursday, 19.12.2024, and we met at the magnificent «Widder Hotel». The extremely nice concierge recommended we have a drink in the «Library»: what a beautiful room! The conversation with Andrea was – as always – super interesting. We talked about the financial centres of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Doha and of course Zurich. I was amazed at everything I learnt about quant investments. Andrea is a real master at it!
