Celebrating the New Year in Zurich with wonderful animals from all over the world

Instead of going for a walk along Lake Zurich at the weekend as we often do, my wife and I decided to go to «Zoo Zurich» on Sunday, 29.12.2024. What a dream! More than 380 animal species living in nature-like habitats such as the «Lewa Savana», «Masoala Rainforest» and «Kaeng Krachan Elephant Park».

Like other cities, Zurich is proud of its zoo. It is rightly considered one of the most beautiful in the world. Thanks to generous sponsors and donors, the animals have plenty of space. Currently under construction are «Panthera» for the big cats and «Pantanal Aviary» for the birds. The «Zoo Zurich» is internationally admired for these projects.

After three hours, Olena and I happily went home and enjoyed a wonderful Swiss cheese fondue by candlelight in our flat, which is located between the zoo and Lake Zurich. I wish you a very happy and healthy New Year! Thomas J. Caduff, CEO, Fundplat LLC
