Leading digital asset entrepreneur stops in Zurich on way to UAE
I was delighted to meet Dom Braun, Group CEO of Coinflare, in Zurich on Friday, 31 October 2025. We had an inspiring and in-depth conversation about the future of digital assets at Café Gourmet from the Hotel Schweizerhof across from the main station. The staff were extremely friendly, and one of the ladies kindly took our photo.
Dom and I have known each other for around 25 years, and he is one of the smartest finance professionals I know. With VISION2030, he is driving the creation of the first global, impact-driven digital asset company that aims to deliver real value to individuals, institutions, and society.
He currently lives with his family in Europe, after spending roughly ten years in Singapore. Soon, they will be relocating to the United Arab Emirates, where Dom already maintains close contacts with the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), the Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), and other key financial players (banks, asset managers, family offices, etc.).
As the host of the 4th Fundplat «The Desert Talks» Summit 2025, the main evening event will take place at the legendary Capital Club Dubai on November 5, which will be a highlight of the Summit. The following day, Thursday, 6 November, I am organizing a lunch at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi, one of the world’s most prestigious hotel addresses.
