We usually meet at his main residence in Dubai. At the moment, Andrea Nardon is in Zurich, with frequent business trips to London, where he spent many years working for a Swiss private bank. On the morning of Thursday, 9 April 2026, we sat down for a one-hour conversation at TIME Lounge & Bar in Zurich’s main railway station.

Andrea is one of the smartest people I know. His network in the financial industry is nothing short of exceptional. His particular strength lies in mathematics and quantitative investing. What truly sets him apart, however, is this: he not only explains complex concepts with remarkable clarity, but also applies them with great success as an investment manager.
