The first quarter of 2023 began with mixed activity in primary markets, high bond issuance and low IPOs in the equity space, and highly variable secondary market trading.
Following a very challenging quarter for trading securities in the financials sector, we caught up with Eric Heleine, head of trading and overlay management at Groupama Asset Management, who talks us through the events from a trading desk perspective, and tells us how his team have been adapting to cope with these challenges in order to protect and serve end investors.
