A new chapter for funds: Zurich meets Dubai
Founded in Zurich in 2001, the Fund Academy has become an institution in the European fund industry. Today, it is also active in Geneva, Luxembourg and Dublin. In June 2026, it embarked on a new chapter by launching its courses in Dubai in collaboration with the DIFC Academy. This is not only an exciting development in professional education, but also a great example of the European and UAE fund industries coming together on an academic level.
The Dubai operation is led by Vera Doljenkova, Director and Brand Ambassador. A few days ago, I had the opportunity to speak with her at length about the initiative and its future at the Four Seasons Hotel Dubai International Financial Centre. The next step is already on the horizon, with an expansion into Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) planned.
